As a creative agency, we do a lot! Although as we’re not a talent agency, we can’t represent you. You’re the best person to do that.

Take a look below at some of the services we offer, although we are always open to discussing more tailored approaches to working together.

Producing

From early ideas to international tours (and everything in between) we’re with you each step of the way. We encourage using research and development time to explore the possibilities and interrogate the right path to production. We see ourselves as partners in your development, working together to help you make your best work.

Working with us provides you with multiple benefits, including always having the benefit of two producers for the price of one! We assume legal and financial liability for the project, you have access to Theatre Tax Relief (TTR) claims, and most importantly we will handle all of the admin/legal/financial work so that you can focus completely on doing what you do best – being creative.

We pride ourselves on being able to quickly inject our producing skillset and knowledge into any project, no matter how big or obscure!

Bid Writing

We approach writing a bid like an artist creating a show – it’s an art form in itself! We can write funding applications Arts Council England (ACE)/Non-ACE, under £15k/Over £15k, and can support you in realising your idea into something that’s clear, concise and – most importantly – fundable! We’ll walk you through the process, ensuring you know exactly what to do every step of the way. And if we can’t produce your work, we’ll still support you from a distance.

Access Support

We are registered access support workers with Arts Council England. If you qualify for Access Support, we can apply to ACE to support you with finalising your application. As champions of access on our own projects, we also offer access support across other applications or on projects, even if we aren’t producing it – with particular expertise in supporting neurodivergent artists and artists with mental health disabilities.

Mentorship / Artist Development

REcreate exists to develop new talent, particularly to invest in the development of early career producers. We work directly with associate producers and artists, providing them with ‘on-the-job’ and direct support to ensure they can take risks and utilise their experience to develop their practice. This ranges from bringing them onboard our own projects to directly work with us to matching emerging producers with artists, with mentorship from us to share our way of working and develop skills with confidence.

Dramaturgy / Story Consulting

As artists in our own right with training in theatre, movement and writing, we know the ingredients that it takes to make a piece of work the best it can be. Whether it’s building the perfect structure, nailing naturalistic dialogue or creating unforgettable characters we can work with you from early idea stages to final production scripts, helping you hone your skills whilst ensuring the audience experience remains at the heart of your work.

Workshops

Both Reece & Emily have run successful workshops for artists, producers and students. We can work with you to craft a session that is suitable for your needs or think outside the box about how to develop experience and knowledge through discussion and practical based activity.

Project Surgeries

REcreate is all about connection. We offer one-to-one advisory sessions and consultancy to artists, producers and organisations. We might not be able to work with everyone, but through meeting, sharing and connecting we can make links and support you to find your best next step.
